Anticipated November Releases

I have tons more spooky content, but today let’s take a look at books that will be hitting shelves in November!

Epic Reads’ list of seventeen anticipated releases includes well-publicised works such as Heartless by Marissa Meyer and The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon.  Also on the list is The Diabolic by S.J. Kincaid.  I’ve been very public about my appreciation for her earlier Insignia trilogy, so this is definitely on my list of books to check out.  Another book on the list that I’ve mentioned in the past is Fate of Flames by Sarah Raughley, the story where four chosen girls are given elemental powers and set to fight evil.  The list also includes new books in series by Claudia Gray and Jennifer Lynn Barnes, as well as the first book in a new series from Sara Shepard, author of Pretty Little Liars.

The Barnes & Noble Teen Blog lists twenty books, including Saving Hamlet by Molly Booth.  The story follows a girl who is set to help with her school production of Hamlet, only to find her travelling through time from the present to the time of the very first production of Hamlet.  This book catches my attention because the book I am (very slowly) working on also involved a school production of Hamlet!  My story also involves a paranormal element, though not the time travel of this book.

Kirkus Reviews also offers up ten November releases to check out, including a few that failed to make either of the earlier two lists.  Frozen Charlotte by Alex Bell is a said to be a spooky tale involving creepy dolls, and possibly ghosts.  The Door that Led to Where by Sally Gardner tells the story of a young protagonist who uses his love for Charles Dickens to help him blend in when he travels to the past.
